Ok... I don't want to be polemical but some bugs are particular to specific bindings. Anyway, we need a place to discuss about these bugs too without mixing the both.
IMO binding specific bug questions are rare and really belong on the bindings web site or bug tracking system instead of a third party java gaming forum.

LWJGL has its own forum to deal with binding specific bug questions whereas this kind of forum is here for JOGL and in my humble opinion, we (JOGL users) need this kind of forum here, we don't have enough resource now to create a separate forum. Therefore, I still disagree, please don't merge JOGL and LWJGL sections. Edit.: actually we have a forum for binding specific questions on Project Kenai but I don't know if lots of JOGL users know where it is: http://projectkenai.com/projects/jogl/forums/forum

The thing is that 99% of the posts in the JOGL section are for general OpenGL questions. It's very rare when I see anything pertaining specifically to JOGL or LWJGL. So I don't see how combining the two will inhibit anything.

agreed, also since the forums aren't very active, even if there is a binding specific question, it should be easy for users of either binding to find and answer them.

As long as we're discussing forum restructuring... it would also be interesting to draw out the Java4K forum onto the main page when it's in season. It is sort of hidden as a footnote "child board" now.

It seems like we're waiting for someone with TEH POWERS to do it...? Or ...? Cas Yes. If I or Markus do it, then our only option is to create a new subforum entirely and delete the old one, manually moving every single post ever posted in that subforum from one to the other. I'm not interested in moving thousands of threads. We need Chris or another administrator to install a mod into the server that allows us to merge forums. I've already pinged him about this (when this topic first opened), but so far we don't have that capability. It's probably a pain to install these mods.
