I figured since Markus and OrangyTang are both posting theirs, I might post my entry for the LD12 Ludumdare 48h competition as well:

Towerball webstart
Towerball zip (including level editor, exe wrappers and shell scripts)

Well done, I like it a lot.

Dampening can potentially be too good, though.

Thanks! And, yes, I suppose dampnening might be too good. Still, plenty of people say that the game is far too hard, and I didn't know what to do without the dampening. I suppose some form of friction... Smiley

Yeah, it certainly would be way way too hard without it. I didn't know I had it at first and it was very frustrating.  Tongue

Sorry about that - I really don't know what causes it :/
Will attempt to run it on a similar configuration and see if I can figure out the problem.
It's OpenGL, so integrated graphics isn't optimal but it should work anyway...

Brilliant. Very smooth for me using Java 6 Update 7 :

Tested on Ubuntu 8.04.1 via JWS.
Intel GMA965 & Intel C2D T5250
Stayed around 60 fps and had a very low impact on the system.
Quite fun but quite difficult.

Great work :-)

Thanks Smiley

Yes - I used kevglass's Slick library (for 2d game stuff), which uses lwjgl for OpenGL support.
